Email 28 Aug 2019 – I would like to start this Email off with a very large Thank you. Your support towards my campaign both up at Karapiro and Japan has been immeasurable. This was one of the best experiences I have had and came out one better at the end. My crew mates and I managed to win the Junior U19 Womens quadruple sculls world title over in Tokyo. The support I have received from South Canterbury in all areas of sport shows just how much upcoming athletes mean to this part of New Zealand. It is an honour to be a part of this. Thank you all so much and hopefully this is just the start of my rowing career.
Email 12 July 2019 – I am writing to say the biggest thank-you to you, and the rest of aspect trust for helping me with the opportunity to be a part of the NZ junior rowing campaign. We are now currently only a few weeks out from travelling over to Tokyo Japan. Race pieces and anaerobic work has started to move into our schedules as well as heat training to help us adjust to the 36-degree weather that will hit us later this month. The training load increases each week which takes its toll so a lot of the day is spent sleeping in between sessions! This has been one of the best experiences so far, and this was made possible because of you all. I am also available to send out updates while over in Japan and when I am back.
