Funding Criteria

Athletes who are applying for grants must be:

  • Currently selected as a NZ Representative in either a Development or Full National Team.
  • An Individual, no teams to apply.
  • Amateur Athlete only, who are able to demonstrate real financial need for sport related expenses, such as travel, equipment, clothing, coaching etc.

For all grants the following conditions apply:

  • The Committee’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Successful applicants will be required to be accountable for their grant by submitting a written report on how funding was used, what was achieved at any events competed in and certified by a provincial or national body.
  • The Trust may not cover the full cost of any application.
  • Applications will not be funded retrospectively.

  • 10th January
  • 10th March
  • 10th May
  • 10th July
  • 10th September
  • 10th November
