Hockey is in Tim Sheed’s blood. He is a long-term South Canterbury Hockey representative making the Canterbury Senior Men’s Mainland Cup team in 2020 and the NZ Heritage team (for promising national under 21 players) in 2021. He has in recent years received many awards for hockey whilst gives back by being involved in umpiring when he can. Tim’s main goals for 2022 are to continue his hockey development, obtain selection in the Canterbury Cavaliers side for nationals  and the NZ Under 21 squad. He is focussed on achieved national selection with the ultimate being to represent his country at Commonwealth and Olympic games.

Tim says: “I believe that coming from a small but highly successful region has always kept me grounded when achieving success as I have always remembered where I have come from and will continue to fly the South Canterbury flag for years to come”.
